Anti Money Laundering & Identity Procedures

To comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations,
we operate strict identity and payment verification procedures.

Cash Payments

We cannot accept more than £500 in cash. Amounts over £500 must be paid via Banker’s Draft or Telegraphic Transfer.

Client Identification

Two forms of ID are required from each client, one preferably photographic. Mobile phone bills are not accepted.

Proof of Address

Utility bills must be no more than 3 months old and clearly show your current address.

Bank Statements

A copy bank statement is required from any individual making a payment to the practice.

Source of Funds

Funds received from unexpected or unclear sources will be queried to ensure regulatory compliance.

UK Bank Accounts

All funds must be received from and paid into a UK bank account.

Certified ID

Certified copy ID is accepted from Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers, Mortgage Brokers, Bank Managers, or Accountants.

File Retention

Files are retained for 7 to 15 years, including identification records for each client.
